Community Guidelines

Our guidelines exist to make OutbackStarLounge a place where everyone feels welcome, respected, and safe to enjoy themselves.

Our Core Principle

The OutbackStarLounge community thrives because of the people in it. We ask every member to carry the spirit of the outback — open, generous, and respectful — into every interaction. These guidelines aren't a list of restrictions; they're a shared commitment to keeping this space enjoyable for everyone.

Respectful Conduct

  • Treat every player with courtesy and respect, regardless of their gaming ability or how they behave at the table
  • Disagreements are fine — personal attacks, insults, and derogatory language are not
  • Celebrate your own successes without demeaning others
  • Offer tips and strategies in a helpful, non-condescending manner when asked

Prohibited Behaviour

The following behaviours will result in immediate action, including account suspension or permanent ban:

  • Harassment, bullying, or targeted intimidation of any player
  • Hate speech, discriminatory language, or content that demeans any group
  • Sharing other players' personal information without their consent
  • Attempting to exploit game mechanics or use unauthorised software
  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans
  • Impersonating OutbackStarLounge staff or other players
  • Any commercial solicitation or spam in any community space
  • Sharing or promoting content involving minors

Game Etiquette

  • Play in good faith — intentionally disrupting games for others is not acceptable
  • Accept both winning and losing gracefully
  • Do not use game chat to spread misinformation or deliberately mislead other players
  • Remember that this is entertainment — keep the atmosphere light and enjoyable

Reporting and Enforcement

If you witness behaviour that violates these guidelines, please report it through our Contact Us page. Include the offending username, approximate time, and a brief description of what occurred. All reports are treated confidentially and reviewed by our team within 24 hours.

Violations are handled proportionally — from a written warning for minor first offences through to permanent account removal for serious or repeated violations. We always aim for fair, consistent enforcement.

Updates to These Guidelines

These guidelines may be updated periodically as our community evolves. Significant changes will be communicated to registered members. The most current version is always available on this page.
